Can Someone Please Explain Corporate Structures?

I've been confused about these for a long time and thought it would be a good idea to ask for your help to understand what these mean...like what does each function as and why are there multiple layers?

HoldCo
TopCo
OpCo
PropCo

Is there any other type of corporate structure I'm missing here? And what would the order of these be? Propco, opco, topco, then holdco?

Essentially, folks are just trying to minimize liability and maximize tax efficiency.  Structuring deals, JVs, funds, etc is an art form and a major industry.  Every deal and vehicle is different.  Some groups have to use REIT structures (for foreign investors), some use vanilla LLCs, there are blocker structures, different sleeves of capital/investors within a fund, etc.  It all seems complex, and I guess it sort of is, but it comes back to my first point, the structure is about minimizing liability to the owner and maximizing tax efficiency for investors... the rest is generally just noise.

Thanks for this. Can you please define the terms in the post though? You seem to have some knowledge in these and it would be great to know!
