Capital One Agency Production Salary
Currently interviewing for a role in a HCOL city as Vice President/mortgage banker at capital one (think Freddie/Fannie multi family). Any idea about what comp I should expect? I’d imagine it’s higher base and lower bonus since it’s a bank not brokerage
Recruiter hit me up for the same role and I asked him directly via email what the comp package and he never responded. If I had to guess I'd say $175-200k base with 20% bonus for a % of net profits via closing deals.
That seems about right. I know some agency originators that are ass deep in money from the % they get on deals.
Bump
Anyone know what agency originator base pay is at the different levels?
I’m a production analyst (3 years exp) at this bank in Socal making $90k base + 40% bonus
Seems kinda light to be in production?
I think so too. My coworker is in a lower COL city (southwest) and his base is 89% of my base (SoCal). He also has only 1 year of exp, and not with a direct competitor like myself.
Yea I agree. I would put out feelers and possibly jump ship after bonus. Luckily for you, the job market sucks for everyone but people with experience/current roles.
