Columbia MSRED chances

Hey all - I currently work in corporate finance with a previous work history in prime brokerage and financial reporting - I have developed a strong affinity for the real estate industry i.e. family friends who work in the industry/alumni events and think that an MSRED from Columbia could help me break into the industry, learn about what specifically interests me, and ultimately help me land a job.

I have a 3.53 (Magna Cum Laude) from Boston University School of Management (2014) and a 650 GMAT and was wondering what you think my chances may be...

also for anyone who applied/got accepted was wondering about the recommendations, as there seem to be no limitations as to who they should be from - it doesn't specify it needs to be from an employer so just wanted to get some feedback. Thank you all!
