Im not sure. I know for a fact a senior analyst in PGIM fixed income was at 100% bonus last year. He said real estate definitely gets paid better than fixed income, but that i dont know for certain.
Last year as a 3rd year analyst in the ATL office, comp was $80k + $55k bonus. When I got bumped to associate, the base was $100k. I have since left, but I know they paid retention bonuses of ~$25k last year on top of whatever bonus they will pay out.
They moved all of the analysts’ base up by $15k when I left. I started 3 years ago where my base started at $70k + $5k bumps every year. I also came in at half year so I would’ve technically been at $85k for 3rd year analyst, but my 2.5 year was different.
You’re right tho that they bumped up all analyst base by $15k.
Associate comp is $100-$115k base, 30% target bonus. Top performers get up to 50% of base but that's less than 5% of the pool gets that. 1st year analysts are at $85k base, 30% target bonus. 2nd year at $90-$92.5k with same bonus targets. Senior Analysts range between $95-105k, same bonus targets. Each title increase is a $5-10k increase in base. Pru total comp doesnt move much until the Senior Associate level and even then all is only $250-$300k.
Like $150-$175k. Most people go to Pru for the work life balance but I think that LifeCo culture causes overall talent across the firm to be limited and the high performers usually leave within 2-3 years for places that reward them better for their skill set.

I’d be interested to know. I remember back in 2017 they started analysts at $95k All-in (Atlanta office at least)
So back then associate comp couldn’t have been too high. Wonder if they have bumped to stay competitive
PGIM RE pays out bonus around this time frame so will let you guys know
That seems ridiculously late? Latest I have heard a firm do is April.
PGIM pays associates base around 120-140 and usually 50-100% bonus
20-40% bonus. Confirmed by multiple close friends there.
interesting that PGIM pays much more than other lifecos - ppl i know at metlife / AIG / nuveen aren't pulling this much
100% bonus at PGIM at the associate level is pretty rare. I've never seen one.
Usually top performers at the associate level get 50% and it scales down from there.
100% bonus are typically for VP+.

What is typical VP base for Am or Acq?
I know an associate who had a 100% bonus, but located in one of the European offices.

Damn that pay is kinda shit
What is the senior associate base if the all in pay is $250-$300K?
