You’d be amazed how much freedom in your 30s and 40s making $300k a year in your 20s can buy.

...but is it REPE?

ProbablyEngAnyway

Is this true??? I make a bit over that but don’t feel like I’m guaranteed any measure of securitty in the future unless I moved to the second world and I’m late 20s

Maybe because you can’t spell.

If you don’t feel some sense of security making $300k a year in your 20s you need to address your crippling DraftKings addiction. I’m not saying that’s fuck you money or anything, but come on…

...but is it REPE?

What do you even plan to do with your spare time that leads you to view it as a trade off to 325k over 65-70 hour work weeks?

It's a valid question. In your mid 20's, assuming no kids, what are you really doing during the week nights that's so valuable? Getting a happy hour beer with your friends? Playing video games / watching netflix? Most of the worthwhile stuff in your 20's happens on the weekends anyways which you can still partake in. So it becomes more of a question of costing yourself being comfortable for a few years (instead of costing yourself real, meaningful experiences outside of work) in exchange for setting yourself up, both career wise and monetarily
