Comprehensive REPE Path Guide

Hey, so I have tried to find a good comprehensive guide on getting into REPE but haven’t. If anyone knows of any of the forums please link it. For context I am asking this question because I am currently doing a RE internship and would love to continue in RE. I just graduated high school and am going to be attending a well regarded state school (think semi target for IB) in the fall. I originally was interested in going the IB role then exiting to PE. However, I have heard that I might be better off going to RE analyst buyside role at Blackstone or PGIM. I wanted to see if anyone could give insight into what firms and jobs could give me a path to REPE. Also how difficult getting in is from a state school? Thanks for any insight.
