I’d say it’s very difficult because all the modeling and skillset is so different.. You’re not valuing assets individually you’re valuing companies so it’s a much more difficult process. The entire vantage point is different too, you’re looking at the industry from a more high level perspective. It’s possible if you network hard though. I’d sell the story of “I think real estate is interesting but I want to see it from a high level vantage point”
