Carlyle is pretty tough. Have friends on acq that get crushed. Sometimes up to banking hours. SW is better but smaller in dc. Have a friend on AM and he’s probably doing 60 hours most weeks. FWIW he seems happy and doesn’t complain about the job like the Carlyle kids do.
