Does anyone do deal prescreens for their firm?
My firm raises equity for sponsors on developments and acquisitions. A lot of my role has been sorting through and evaluating deals that hit our desk and making a write up for my bosses.
I pretty much created my pre screen which is a word doc with key deal metrics, highlights, submarket/market analysis, etc. I think the content is pretty spot on but I feel like it’s messy/very wordy/not an official template.
Anyone else have any good templates they use for this? Happy to share mine so you can see what I mean.
