Development Associate Interviews

Hey all - I am interviewing with a few NYC developers of residential, mixed use, and hospitality. Background is REPE at a southeast residential focused shop. Have not underwritten or worked on any developments or interviewed at any developers prior to this experience.

Curious what to expect during a development associate interview? What do they tend to focus on and what should I be prepared for?

Also curious what the state is of NYC developers, how active they are currently, etc.

Appreciate any insights
