genuinely curious about this for real estate. a lot of my buddies in finance get lunches paid for or cooked for them every day. is this ever seen in real estate?
Evening seamless and maybe a team lunch every quarter. No in-house chef like some of these tech places though
Seamless is a delivery service in NYC. A lot of firms give employees a stipend to buy dinner every night
The only companies I've seen get fed are basically subsets of a larger non-real estate company.
We get a 20 lunch credit and a 30 dinner credit, but we aren't a pure RE firm; RE is 30-40% of AUM.
I wish my company did dinner credits or something. Consistently in office well past 10. Does anyone have experience asking to start dinner credits? I think it would be beneficial for everyone.

Lunch 2x a week and once a quarter maybe some company lunch outside the office. It's paid for and catered family style, not a stipend. It's more as a push back to the office since they want us in 4x a week.
No, but can expense dinner if I'm working past 7 and expense lunches with external parties, other departments, or if the majority of our team goes out (obviously the last one is subject to not being abused).
Got some snacks, coffee, and energy drinks in the break room and we get breakfast when we are forced to attend morning staff meetings.
Family office - weekly team lunches, monthly happy hours, in-office coffee/snacks, any time lunch meeting (probably 2 times per month). Not a "regular" stipend or anything though.
GP developer - we get lunch every Tuesday for our development team huddle meeting. Otherwise, no lunches paid or cooked.
Free coffee, waters & snacks and a stocked bar though.
Last time we had food brought in exec management announced layoffs while people were still eating.
Just the standard fair of snacks, coffee, tea and water. We tend to get a delivery of breakfast foods and pastries on Fridays
