Eastdil Exits to PERE

from everything I’ve been able to gather, it seems most people agree that Eastdil is one of, if not the best, places to start in CRE due to training, reputation, and exposure to high quality deals. Every thread on WSO about ES says they have “the best exit opps”, but what does that actually look like? Where do people actually go? Are people at ES better suited to exit to a megafund/top tier REPE than someone at CBRE/JLL/CW etc? I’m an undergrad at a target and want to be in CRE early to gain experience/exposure and eventually get into PERE , just don’t want to do the IB stint of being a pencil pusher beforehand. I guess I just want to know how much I limit myself going to ES as opposed to BB IB
