Eastdil/HFF vs BB REIB
All does anyone know what the differences between these two types of firms are. Is BB REIB better as an Analyst/Associate start then going to an Eastdil or HFF? If the end goal is REPE or Development which role makes more sense? Long term career wise which firm would be better? Know I'm being vague but would welcome any input.
Depends if you want to do property-level deals (Eastdil/JLL) or corporate/portfolio deals (REIB). They're different beasts.
Also HFF no longer exists, JLL bought and absorbed them,
Eastdil is at least a little of both
When Wells sold off Eastdil, they retained all of Eastdil's REIB team to be incorporated into their own team I thought.
