Experienced CRE professional (MSRE) seeking Active REPE firms in Southern California.
Hi all,
I am a San Diego based CRE professional looking to transition into REPE with an active firm in Southern California (preferably MF, Retail or Mixed-Use). With SD being a relatively small market in terms of REPE, I am hoping to get insight into active SoCal REPE offices.
Background: MSRE, with institutional experience in asset/portfolio management (performing and distress), development and construction across most CRE asset classes.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response! I recently started my search, and with my focus on REPE and with limited options in SD, I am expanding out of my typical search area. As there are many more options in LA/OC, I am hoping to identify and connect with groups that may have a need on their asset/portfolio team.
Yes, definitely cast a wider net to include LA/OC, collectively there will be just more options all together.
I'm in the LA area looking as well, but the market out here has felt kind of slow, lately. What drove you to get an MSRE?
I am in SoCal as well, I regularly keep my pulse on what's out there on Linkedin/Select Leaders, there is not a lot. I saw the Link Logistics development role come up recently, that was interesting. SoCal folks here- feel free to connect, we can share notes and help each other out.

Sorry this is off topic, but how is working in SD? Visited two years ago (from Europe) and always had it in mind that I would love to move out there when the stress of city development begins taking its toll! Beat of luck with the search too
