Fastest Way to Convert Rent Rolls & Financials

Does anyone have tips on the fastest way to neatly convert Rent Rolls and Financials to Excel?

For rent rolls, I am currently converting pdf to Excel and getting a mangled mess I have to clean up.

Financials are a bit better as I have a template I use with look-up formulas.

Curious about what everyone else uses?

Typically exporting from PDF to excel then a mix of unmerging cells/text to columns gets me to about 95% of an unformatted product.

If the PDFs are consistent - may be worth creating a Macro to clean up going forward.
