FFO not listed

Putting together a comp table for smaller REITS as an intern with little to none guidance. Some of my comps don't list FFO. Is it possible to calcualte this number and how?

Ive noticed that when i take
Net Income
+ Dep and amort
- gain/loss sale of asset
=FFo

but this number doesnt match with the FFOs that are actually listed for other comps.

kind of confused thanks.

hi, in order to calculate FFO.. Must I subtract Net Valuation Gains from Property as well? Or only gains on Sales?

Yes, you mark your property to market and net off the valuation gains/loss. But that's already included in NI. Same for rents (you straight line them). Also included in NI.

To the OP, I don't understand your question. You're saying that the FFO you're calculating isn't matching your comps' FFO? Yeah, it's not going to match. 2 different companies. try looking at in on a per share basis. Might help normalize things.
