Financial Analyst to REPE
Curious if anyone has experience/insight into pivoting from a financial analyst role at a big developer to an investments position at a REPE firm?
My current role is largely focused on projecting operating cashflows, capital forecasting, reporting to 3rd party investors, and compiling life of project projections for annual business plan reviews with said investors. There's definitely an emphasis on evaluating project asset performance & future property performance projections, but we don't touch the acquisition models or participate in any sort of underwriting from that perspective.
