Finding Time for RE Investing

Been reading books and learning up on real estate investing for a while now. Definitely an area where I've taken more interest than any other as it relates to careers/passions. However I'm caught in a bind. I currently work in audit (almost have my CPA), obviously there's busy season starting right now so I wouldn't have any time to focus on this extracurricular. But i'm currently planning on moving cities later this year so I'd try to find another job. What are some ideas of jobs out there that would allow me to utilize my (almost) certification but also have a good enough work/life balance to do try and do some small deals of my own. Ultimate goal is to slowly rack up enough properties to be able to quit the 9-5.

Maybe speak to a mortgage banker? They may have some ideas? Otherwise east exposure to real estate can be found through REITs if you just want stocks. If you want to own real property like an apartment or something, you might need some financing to get that done. Maybe even chatting with a local broker about properties and the current market may be a good place to start as you figure out what may be a good entrance for you into the business. Either way best wishes and good luck 👍
