First Developer Job Offer - Salary?

Hey guys,

been working my ass off the past few years getting a MSRE + working full time as an architect in South Florida in hopes of landing a developer position. All my hard work and tuition money seemed to have paid off when I got my first RE Development Associate job offer at a small family office to handle very small retail projects across the west coast at a pace of like 2 / month. However when I read the offer email I was very disappointed: 55k salary, no mention of bonus, 10 days total PTO/sick (combined). Vague promise to reevaluate pay later. It’s somehow same pay as my architecture job and worse PTO. Is this normal for south Florida or am I being lowballed? Especially given that the associate role I’m looking at is one where they don’t have to train me or anything, just point me to the project and say “go!” The job specifically requested an architecture / construction background, but pays like it’s entry level.
