Goldman RMD: Apply now (late to Period 1) or wait until Period 2?

I realized that I'm a bit late to the game on FT recruiting for REPE-related roles. I recently found out about Goldman's RMD Analyst program and, upon checking out their website, found that there are a few application periods. Period 1 began on July 1st and goes until September 15th. Period 2 begins on September 16th and goes until November 15th. The site states that Goldman reviews applications on a rolling basis, so my question is: should I apply right now (clearly late into Period 1) or is there some benefit to submitting my application on the first day of Period 2?

Thanks everyone.
