How’s the job market for Analyst 2?
Particularly for acquisitions / REPE. NYC based. Not seeing too many postings on LinkedIn and select leaders. Any suggestions?

Not NYC, but in general the job market is always pretty weak in Q4. Nobody wants to onboard someone in November a month before the holidays.
In Toronto before recently the job market was very strong for junior positions.
What about 2023 Q1? Do you anticipate the Toronto job market becoming strong again?
Yes it's been extremely strong and should continue to be so until we are firmly into the likely recession. There's a big lack of talent right now which has led to surging salaries and lots of long term open postings (Hines has had a Senior Analyst role posted up for over a month).
I'll agree with CREnadian. I've been interviewing in the market and i see at least 2 or 3 solid postings every week for lending. I'm not in the market for AM or development but those are equally just as popular right now. Toronto needs a lot more housing and it seems like all this red tape just keeps slowing it down.
Any idea what happened with the Senior Analyst role at Hines? I'm guessing Hines is just picky.
