Ideal exit ops for originations analysts?
I'm at a CRE brokerage (JLL, CBRE, C&W level) as an analyst on the originations team. My income is decent ($100K TC) and WLB is fine (40ish hours a week) but what is an ideal spot from to increase my TC to like $150K but have a decent WLB? I’ve been here for 1.5 years now
.
Pretty sure CREpassion was in loan asset management and making less than this - did he already change his job?
You can make that much with good wlb if you just stay where you’re at for a couple years. Could also look to asset management or lifeco lending, all depends on what you want long term
Is it possible to really get that big pay bump if you stay at the same company? Wouldnt I have to job hop?
If you work hard and are on a good team, it’s 100% possible
Might be obvious but I would need to be promoted right? Prob won't get any raise if I just stay put as an analyst?
Yeah would need to be looked at as a value add instead of a fresh hire, probably senior analyst title
If I don’t like it anymore after another year, where could I go?
