Career Resources
Have worked with them extensively and am friendly with a couple former mid-levels there.
They're certainly very smart and quite entrepreneurial but sometimes to a fault. I.e. come up with a 1% rifle shot type strategy and ask their partners to allocate a ton of time and resources to attempt to execute.
Their primary strategy is facing an existential due to massive deterioration of office values. Unclear how that unfolds but they're looking at some impaired assets.
There is not much upward mobility. Its the classic "flat organization" where "flat" means there are 3-5 folks making decisions / driving business development and they chastise anyone who attempts to grow into a role like that.
Echoing the comments above me. They seem to overcomplicate things and have trouble executing as a result. Google news says their last deal was 18 months ago. Some turnover recently at the junior and mid level. Add in the office exposure and I can't see it being a growing platform going forward.
Anyone else have insight on these guys? Recruiter keeps hitting me up about a role.
Can't find much about what they've done lately and CoStar shows their last deal being done 2 years ago.
If this is the role that keeps floating around on job boards it's been open for a couple months now.....As others echo above they have a couple longer term employees making the decisions and they poke the tires on a lot of deals, but haven't seen anything pull through in a while recently.
