Lasalle Debt Investors - Analyst Position
Anyone have any insight on Lasalle Debt Investors? They're the debt branch of LIM and focus on bridge loans for value add and transitional properties. Used to be Latitude Real Estate Investors until Lasalle bought them in 2019. I'm curious about their reputation/where they stand in the CRE lending world.
Great bridge shop, lotta volume in the lower middle market and middle market space. You would not see big institutional deals but the volume of deals you see would more than make up for that.
So the would the deal flow make it a good place to start out after undergrad if I want to get experience? Also curious about how niche bridge lending is, what sort of exit opps are there? Is there an easy transition to equity? Thanks!
It would be a great place to start straight out of undergrad. The transition to equity would be fairly easy in the MM or LMM space. You would not only be underwriting real estate but value add and core-plus business plans. Equity guys will value that. You won’t necessarily go over to a mega fund but that’s not as cool as everyone in this forum makes it out to be.
Any insight on salary/total comp? Hours?
I am not sure about Lasalle Debt Investors specifically but a contact who works in the Acquisitions side said the hours are 8:30-19:30/20:00
Had a first-round with them for the role. Seems likes a lean and smart team.
Have you gotten any feedback on the Excel test yet?
Nah I did not get the test I guess
