Linkedin Applications - What Does Viewed and Downloaded Mean
Know hiring is at a standstill for some firms and I know people always say reach out to those at the firm when applying, but what does it mean on the firms side when someone at the junior level looks at someone's Linkedin app and downloads it? Fits experience, etc but I'm assuming it goes into a folder with the million other resumes for a role.
I've heard of mass download abilities so in some cases it may not mean much. I don't think I've ever gotten anywhere even if a firm did download my app, but just curious.
Most of the time this has happened to me, I was asked by the firm to do at least a phone screening! So I would say that is a great sign. In a few cases nothing came of it unfortunately though. Keep fighting the good fight, it’ll happen.
Not sure what it means, so this is a non-answer but for me it's generated mixed results with half not responding and half inviting me for screening interviews (roughly). Happy to chat further with a DM, recruiting fulltime rn
I'm pretty sure it means the person saw your application and your profile and chose to download your resume/other uploaded materials. I've never heard of a batch download, and the one job application I've had someone download my resume turned into a job offer, so it's probably a good sign.
