Lobbying
Very broad question - has anyone lobbied either for their firm or heard of success stories from it? More specifically, lobbied towards adding or improving real estate programs, subsidies, or economic development either at a local or state level.
As common as it reads on the headlines with the large firms, I don’t see much traction from it elsewhere.
For those who have attempted, how did you approach this and what was the process like for you or the firm?
I can’t imagine this only takes place for the big players that visit city hall every other day. Could be as simple as the mayor of a small town allowing tax breaks because his donors need it?
This may be too specific or just plain dumb for the forum - but would like to see it elsewhere besides a news headline.
