Multifamily Developer to BTR Developer? (Help)

I currently work at a fairly large (30-50K units, 5-10 B AUM) Multifamily developer as a senior analyst. I recently was contacted by a BTR recruiter and, although the company is much smaller, it seems like an interesting field with a reasonable track to equity. I would come in with a sizable raise and a title bump, along with more responsibility.

Is anyone familiar with the BTR space and its stability moving forward with the interest rate/hard cost environment? Would this be difficult to switch back into Multifamily down the line? How do you see BTR for the future/for a future career?

Thank you all.
