PGIM: 2024 Sophomore Inclusion Program, Real Estate Internship

Hi guys, first post but I would appreciate any help! I have a superday coming up with PGIM for the PGIM: 2024 Sophomore Inclusion Program, Real Estate Internship. Anybody have experience with this? What kind of questions I would prepare for? I have basic real estate technicals and behaviorals down, but not sure what else I should focus on, don't have RE modeling experience. Should I go over IB techincals? Thanks so much!

Hey there, congrats on the superday! That's a big step. Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are a few pointers:

  1. Focus on Real Estate: Since this is a Real Estate Internship, the focus will likely be more on real estate technicals rather than Investment Banking. Make sure you understand key concepts like Net Operating Income, Cap Rates, Cash on Cash Return, etc.

  2. Know the Company: Make sure you understand what PGIM does, especially their real estate division. Look at their recent deals, understand their strategy, and be ready to discuss why you're interested in them specifically.

  3. Behavioral Questions: Be ready to answer questions about your background, why you're interested in real estate, and where you see your career going. They might also ask about your teamwork and leadership experiences.

  4. Modeling: While you mentioned you don't have RE modeling experience, it might be beneficial to understand the basics. You probably won't be asked to build a model from scratch, but understanding how they work could be useful.

  5. Diversity and Inclusion: Since this is for the Sophomore Inclusion Program, be prepared to discuss diversity and inclusion. Think about your own experiences and why a diverse and inclusive workplace is important to you.

Remember, they're not expecting you to know everything as a sophomore. They want to see that you're interested, motivated, and have taken the time to prepare. Good luck, you've got this!
