I'll go first, No for me. Still going to be in CBD for me post COVID. Living that far out is detrimental to dating/girls/mental health. But some will think otherwise.

Wondering how detrimental it could actually be too. You're getting different things when living outside the city, for some it fits better, for others it won't.
Young and single? Always in the city.
Have a family, need more space, need to be in better school district? Move further away from the office.
This is how it has always been though. My office is in the suburbs and all the young folks commute in from the city even during covid.

20 min isn’t long at all in any major city in the US. Neither is 40 min really.
My pre-Covid commute was 22-ish minutes in the morning and 40-ish in the evening (5.2 hours a week). I'd move that to 1 hour each way if I only came into the office twice a week. And that 1 hour would probably be the equivalent of 1:15 or so pre-Covid given the likely reduced traffic. That would change everything.
