Public / Private, Equity / Debt, Hybrid Roles ?

Looking to transition to a role where I can focus on RE investments / acquisitions across all asset classes on equity and debt and across the public and private markets. Does anyone know of any large RE shops / megafunds structured in this manner where one team essentially handles all types of investing ?

It is nearly impossible to be in both public and private at the same time because of MNPI concerns. The big shops have "walls" because nobody wants to be accused of insider trading

Working debt/equity is possible, but usually only at small shops.

This - you're not going to find a shop that allows you to invest in both public and private markets in the same role. It's a regulatory concern.

Even being able to do both equity and debt, it's rare at a large shop/megafund - when you get to that size it's better to have specialists, so they generally have separate teams. Much more likely to find this at a mid-size shop.
