RE Commercial Acquisition Opportunities for UG
Hi all,
Currently an UG looking to break into commercial real estate acquisitions. Curious to know which firms would give me the best learning experience as an analyst(less focused on prestige or AUM, more on experience across asset types and investing across the cap stack). Heard a lot of great things about sculptor in terms of learning experience but have also heard its extremely hard to break in there.
Also wondering about the general shape of the market, as a few seniors at my school a did not get full time offers back at their firm after their summer internship and are having trouble finding a full time job. Would it be better to do IB for two years and then transfer into real estate when the market rebounds?
