RE MBA From NYU

Currently work in multifamily debt brokerage (agency lender @ Berkadia) and thinking of switching to the principal side (acquisitions). I'm based in SoCal and want to stay here long term, but would there be value in getting an MBA from a top program in NYC to meet fellow REPE students that I could call to be a JV/ equity partner when I move back to SoCal to do acquisitions? Or would I get the same value going to USC, UCLA, etcThanks!

I would do MSRE/MSRED over an MBA for RE. Cheaper and shorter, and you will most likely end up at the same shop as you would with an MBA for RE. Currently in the MSRE program at NYU and have two upcoming interviews for acquisitions roles. REPE shops will talk to you with an MSRE. I would highly recommend looking into it. Berkely has a great program too.
