Jesus, I feel underpaid. Currently at 130K base + 100% bonus as an ASO2 in NYC
I’m similar to you ($15k higher) also in HCOL city. I think as long as WLB is reasonable it’s still worth it. There are shops that pay $100k more for your level of experience, but from what I understand those places pay that much because the hours are brutal

Technically not. At a really well known place though. Think MF is closer to 100%+ on bonuses

It wasn’t all investing. 4 years of brokerage / agency lending followed by two years of investing. If I had 6 years of debt investing experience, I would definitely be in the $400k+ range of comp. This was my 2nd full year of comp… so associate 2 I guess?
Great idea to start this thread! For real estate private credit compensation it would be helpful to share your level location and compensation details including base salary bonus and total comp. Also, specifying any stock deferred compensation or carry along with average hours worked can provide valuable insights.
