I know a couple of associates that were previously on the team and I was told it is sort of disfunctional because of issues at the top (lots of politics among the various senior leaders of the different business lines).
However, I also know a finance person over there that loves it, so not sure who to believe.
Also this. Speaking from experience on internal politics and pissing contests, not specifically at the fund, but can't imagine its drastically different from the rest of the firm.
Have also heard this. People at the top like to dress down others regardless of who is around. Apparently it's gotten better but still doesn't sound positive. Would look great on resume assuming it's the only interested player.
