REPE layoffs?
Anyone heard of any REPE funds laying people off at this point or is it mainly just salary cuts for the time being?

Which REPE firms are doing salary cuts?
Some of Asset Management guys got laid off at my firm. No salary cuts to the rest of us
Why asset management guys? Are they moving acquisitions guys over to AM to backfill?
Our fund disposed of all their Australian assets last year, so with transaction volume drying up, there wasn't a need to retain in house asset management onshore. so they've been made redundant. We still have some asset managers in the regional HQ. I’m just an analyst, so that’s what our team was told this morning by the MD

I haven't heard of any layoffs in REPE. Theoretically, unless your LP investors are now insolvent, there should be no impact to fund management-level revenue.
The head of my group was laid off and my team was placed with another investment group. Also took a temporary haircut on salary. Fund size about $15B
