Does anyone know of any REPE groups in Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi or are these usually covered by the Dallas or Atlanta shops?

Harbert in Birmingham has raised some pretty big funds. If you're asking about funds that invest there vs. are based there - I'd look at smaller national REPE or regional guys in larger southeast markets. States you mentioned are borderline tertiary and I think most large funds wouldn't play there (at least in the asset classes I'm involved in)
Searched Preqin. There is one out of those three states, Herbert Management Corporation.
