Secondary Market for Crowdfunded Equity?
Not sure if this has been discussed on the board before, I have found a few articles online but nothing specific to real estate crowdfunded equity deals. If anyone here has invested in or reviewing the docs, given the intrinsic illiquid nature of the investment, could share of a deal be traded/sold to another accredited investor prior to the deal being sold/returns being realized? I am assuming this would be outlined in the subscription agreement, but I wanted to see if anyone knew offhand.
SoCal-RE, sorry there are no responses yet. Maybe one of these topics can point you in the right direction:

Hope that helps.
I haven't done anything with 'crowdfunding,' but from what it looks like to me, it's basically just a different way to fund raise for a non-traded reit?
i believe cadre is trying to set up a secondary market for exactly this - creating liquidity.
Has anyone invested on the Cadre platform? Any feedback?
I haven't but I believe it is only for accredited investors (probably not a ton of those trolling around these parts).
