Seeking Real Estate 2024 Internship Advice
Hello WSO,
I'm a non-diversity sophomore at a target school with leadership roles on campus real estate and finance clubs. 3.7~ GPA. No luck with Starwood, Blackstone, RE IB, GS AM, or MS AM SA 2024 applicatoins.
Any recommendations on other 2024 internship opportunities in the real estate field? Advice is greatly appreciated.
Which REIB groups have you applied to?
MS, JPM, Citi, and Eastdil
As someone who did this process last year, don’t stress out too much. There are so many places that don’t recruit until summer or fall. I didn’t lock up my MF junior internship until sophomore summer. Just continue to prep technicals and network. Also, look at smaller places. I interned at a smaller boutique in NY and had a blast. The smaller places seem more fratty and laid back and pay a similar amount to MF. People on this forum are extremely correct in the sense that MF doesn’t mean that much in re. There are smaller places that pay more and will give more opportunities than a MF. Pm me for more questions
