Starwood REPE (Straight Out Of UG)

Thoughts on Starwood (Capital Group, not the REIT/Trust)? I've heard it's a sweatshop, but the experience, compensation, and exit opps are elite. I'd love to hear some more thoughts on starting as analyst in PM/AM/Acq straight out of undergrad.

Harsh but true. Can almost guarantee no self-respecting analyst (or prospect) at a mega-fund uses WSO for Q&A.

I wouldn’t necessarily agree. It’s a helpful resource to learn about potential employers once you learn to filter through the college kid  / inexperienced opinions which are typically just regurgitation of prior threads / crowd view. That said, strong candidates generally use the search function first and ask more insightful questions than should I start at one of the most reputable REPE funds.
