Maybe skip the recruiter and try to connect with them directly? Someone in the know told me the culture sucks and to stay away, but I don't have much insight beyond that. Supposedly micro management from the top, long hours, and 5 days in the office in Greenwich, but I'm sure the pay is good. New entrant into CRE focused on credit, but also trying to build an equity program. Seems like an interesting place. If I were early in my career and culture agnostic with an interest in distress and complex credit, I'd rather go somewhere established like Fortress, Cerberus, Starwood, or maybe Monarch. Starwood is maybe the outlier in that sentence since they're usually more of a vanilla REPE player, but occasionally they'll do some really interesting deals.
