Studio RE Info
Can anyone provide some info on the niche asset class of movie/media studios?
Some questions I have below:
- How are leases structured?
- How does the underwriting differentiate from other similar asset classes (retail, office, etc..)?
- Is there supportive evidence that there are strong market tailwinds for this asset class? I assume so, especially with streaming platforms taking over (Netflix/Amazon/Hulu)
- Who are the major REPE/REIT players in the studio space?
Any other general info regarding the asset class that is worth knowing?
