I was trying to find some more information regarding this Master's program, more specifically current student profiles, ie. AVG GPA, GRE etc. I even called the admissions coordinator and was told she was not allowed to divulge this information. Does anyone have any insights to the program?

I've been digging for information for a while too. From what I've gathered, its mostly kids out of UG that get it. It is unanimously seen as having very practical information by those who've gotten it, however you will get no help at all getting a job afterwards, their career placement being entirely up to your own networking.
It seems to me the better option would be to get the Master of Real Estate through May's and just choose development concentrations as your electives.
Just got off the phone with one of the guys at the MLPD program. The MRE is more finance focused and is out of the business school, which is better for institutional people. The MLPD is heavily residential focused and has a 75% job placement rate (at places like Poulte) compared to the MRE's 100% (take that with a grain of salt though, they list Marcus and Milichap as a target)
Thanks for the info. I noticed the curriculum seemed to focus on residential which is something I am not interested in. I was hoping the program had more success in placing students with some of the larger regional developers.
Have you looked in to A&M's MRED (Masters in Real Estate Development)? I don't know a ton about the program but I know that the alumni network is crazy strong in Texas.
Don't think it would be unheard of to work for a regional development shop out of A&M.
One of the great things about the MRE program is that every Friday they have an someone from the various industries (developers, bankers, valuation, etc) come and talk to the students. Give them a chance to ask questions, etc.
I know a couple of kids who joined developers right out of the program. Others spent a year in appraisal or lending and then jumped ship. We have a strong job network where all types of industry's will communicate with the alumni network about open opportunities and what not. It's definitely not too hard to score an in with a developer.
