Thoughts on Singapore / SE Asia

Hey fellas,

Any of you with work experience or interactions with firms anywhere in the real estate spectrum in Singapore?

Seems to be that SE Asia is on the tip of a lot of (more opportunistic) investors' tongues with the slowdown/uncertainty in China and the continued mess in Europe and the US. Interested to hear what people think/have heard about Singapore and Southeast Asia in terms of investment activity (who & where), career opportunities, compensation comparisons to NYC/London, etc.

(I have some thoughts on this as I relocated here in December to break into the industry - specifically targeting REPE - but am interested to see what WSO thinks. I'll contribute with my findings so far as the thread hopefully develops.)
