What do i do now
Hey everybody,
I'll try to keep this short. I recently joined a start up sponsor attached to a PM company as the main underwriter. I've spent the last 6-8 months woking on underwriting deals but we were not able to close on any due to our equity. well now the PM co is being acquired and my job is not being taken on. Curious how to get a new gig as this was my first acquisitions role so I'm a little thin on experience.
Apply and network like crazy. Job market has been really bad as of the last year or so, but starting to open up a little bit.
I'd argue the job market has gotten progressively worse as time has gone by, so unfortunately it would be an even steeper hill to climb.
