What’s next?

Hey guys, I signed for SA24 with one of the top 10 NYC REPE shops (based on PERE rankings) a few months ago. I was hoping to get some clarity on what are the "exit ops" (yes, I know REPE is an exit op for many) but more so if I find that REPE isn't for me.

Can you recruit for a hedge fund or is there an on-cycle (similar to investment banking)? Do people leave to smaller REPE firms or JV partners? What are some common paths? I appreciate any insight into the matter, thank you!
