What's the best source for reputable Development Associate comp. data?
So, as the title mentions, I'm currently trying to assess what is considered the market compensation for a Development Associate (~3 years exp.) in 2021 based in the Mid-Atlantic/SE markets. I know there's a Google Sheet floating around on here, but I can't necessarily bring this to an employer and say, "here's what a bunch of anons on a RE forum say they're making". I know that Sheet is a good tool to check the market, but I'm looking for something more in line with what CEL puts together. The only constraint with their data is they don't have a Development Associate position listed: only Manager, Sr. Manager, VP, and above. NAIOP produces similar data, but it's behind a paywall. Any insight on this from the more senior folks who have hired an associate in the last year would be greatly appreciated.

You're welcome.

Go to adventuresincre.com and check the compensation report they publish. It’s widely used and reputable in the industry. I sited it when negotiating my comp and ended up in the suggested range for my experience/position.
It's 4 years old though.
Here’s a thread to the Rhodes Associates survey. Seems slightly more favorable towards the northeast markets but it’s certainly credible and could be a decent starting point for you in your negotiations
