Where can debt capital markets at REPE firm take you?
If I were to accept a debt capital markets analyst position at a REPE firm (AUM is >$20billion), what would my exit opportunities be? Also, would it be a good experience to transition to acquisitions or asset management at a REPE firm?
I'm a bit confused because the title or role you describe is not common at REPE shops. Are you part of a team that is responsible for raising capital and bringing in investors? If you could elaborate a bit further on what responsibilities you'll have will help figure out what skill set you'll gain.
