Blank space on resume

So I'm following the M&I template and I have some blank space on the bottom of my resume, around 1/6th of the page is blank.

Do you think this is okay, or should I add in some activity from high school to fill in the space? Or perhaps, should I add in projects that I have done in class related to finance in the Work & Leadership Experience section?

add an additional bullet or two to your work experience/leadership/etc. adding in random stuff to just fill in space is obvious and awkward

It completely depends on how far from high school you are. If you are a freshman, thats fine. Anyhwere past that, fill the resume or go to the big 4.

I've been told to include research projects or design projects if the work is of similar caliber to work experience or if it was a really unique and/or relevant experience ...i.e. don't put it on there if you think might see it as just a resume filler (obviously this depends on what specific experience you got from the project...rule of thumb, if you have doubts about it, leave it off)

If you did anything important in highschool (pres. of honor society, volunteered at soup kitchen) you can put that too. While it might not seem exactly related, it gives you something else to talk about.

you should see if your school is linked to the netbooks database and check out the wetfeet guide to investment banking resumes.
