Bojangles shift leader and construction on resume
So I’m not trying to brag but I run my local Bojangles. It’s all me in the drive-through. DRINKS, PACKING,TAKING ORDERS, it’s literally all me. I even help out front counter with 2 drinks in my hand mid order. I really am bossman. I’m the greatest Bojangles shift leader ever, I’m not actually shift leader tho im technically crew member but everyone knows whatsup. But actually should I put this on my resume and say I ran my Bojangles like no other. Rising sophomore at semi for NYC and arguably target for Chicago. Summer job since I’m back home. During the year I worked in construction and had 2 boutique ib internships should I put that as well(construction). Laying wood and all that. This is not a shit post. Should I actually put these two.
Bump same at Mcdaddy
Bump same thing at br king
Lmao my goodness this is hilarious
Bump this is big
I put McDonald’s on my resume and it got more positive feedback in interviews than any other thing on my resume. People generally respect real jobs.
Agreed. Though long gone now, I worked in construction out of high school and that built a good impression for older people.
Also, am from the South so Bojangles gets my upmost respect. I miss my cajun filet biscuits.
For sure do it. It's essentially checking the same boxes as undergrad club stuff (e.g. does this person have leadership potential, are they responsible, can they talk to humans) but you've done it in the real world. And I think there's a certain segment of hirers who get tired of applicants who have only ever worked at a desk because of their rich Daddy who will respect your hustle.
I fucking love this what a great post, never been to Bojangles (none by me) but BOY OH BOY I might come work with u if banking doesn’t work out.
I worked construction for a few years to pay for college and mentioned in interviews with 2 reputable banks (JP, CITI, BofA, WF) and it seemed to do well for me. Think it’s a case by case scenario but if you can articulate some good experience & tie it to what you are interviewing for somehow, it can be impressive. Very blue collar
You seem like a chiller - PM if you struggle w/ recruiting this winter
yeah keep it on your resume, bojangles is a target fast food chain. now if it was some trash ass non-target like burger king or long john silvers i would delete that shit immediately.
Bump with Panera
I just wanted to say that I love Bojangles
Ever worked at Sonic at 2 am though?
True Story, I worked at Sonic in HS and the car hops all showed me their tits in the walk-in freezer when I refilled the slushy mix. Manager sold a lot of coke out of there. It was the perfect degeneracy to prepare me for this life. Would def put on resume.
Shift leader. 5.30 in the morning to 10.30 after closing. Hustle. Got that mamba mentality
Troll post but irl I had my bartending/server experience in my resume until my junior year when i got enough internships to get it out.
Did make some interviews more casual since they asked me about it
i also did construction and fast food before that so it sometimes comes up
not a troll post. work construction during the school year because my dad was in construction and Bojangles in the summer because I need cash.
