*CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM PLZ*...non-target junior looking for PE, IB, or L/S HF internships this summer

My GPA is a little on the low side, but I think some of my experiences and extra-curricular activities will do me justice. As noted by some monkeys before, my resume read like a third grader's "What I did for summer" paper. I have revised it, but I doubt it is perfect yet.

Better than it was...that being said still needs a lot of work.

What I would recommend is read through resumes on the forum and see what fellow monkeys have said for similar positions.

Any honors? Dean's list, Honor Society, etc.

What's your Major GPA if better than cumulative GPA

As stated earlier, needs a lot of work.

Add a break between the GPA line and the next section. Add another bullet, relevant coursework or honors.

Not a big fan of the experience section being out of order, even though I see why you did it. Input from others? No need to say "worked with portfolio manager..." Delete that. Delete the activities header too. Just put the bullets below, no need to subsections under the modeling experience either. Just say something like "Built operating models and valued companies using discounted cash flow (DCF), sum-of-the-parts and comparable companies analyses"

You really participated in conference calls? Bravo.

For bullets under the investment fund: - Teach members how to conduct due diligence, build financial models, and source investment ideas You guys really use a top-down approach? I've always figured that's a bad idea. Say something like "Leading efforts to raise $40,000 in capital by next year by reaching out to alumni" or something like that. Your special sits pick, in my opinion, should be mentioned in your interview, not as a bullet. Or if as a bullet, more condensed and within a "Representative experience" bullet list or something.

I feel like your PA section should just be under interests. I think people reading will get that you like investing.

There's an extra space between the bullet point and the word "Provide" under SumZero. Also your bullet points seem pointless to me. Talk about what you've published.

Add a break between last bullet of SumZero and beginning of next section.

Skills - due diligence? Seriously? Honestly your skills and interests line is completely useless at the moment. You really do nothing but invest, listen to music and play chess/tennis? You sound super boring. List some clubs/organizations outside of investing.
